Had a couple of questions about calves recently so while it might not be the most glamorous topic of all time I thought I'd cover it! I'm by no means an expert but summer is coming up and that means shorts, so I like train mine post legs (so twice a week) two exercises each time with a combination of isolateral and simultaneous movements, typically with heavy weights followed by multiple drop sets and partials. Even though my focus is bodybuilding, and therefore that critical 8-12 rep range, I still like to throw in a heavy set sometimes. Back in the gym after my deload week and straight onto the new program, which I understand was one that @ronniecoleman8 and @dallasmccarver have both used! Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I've been trying to take a deload to give my joints a rest (I like to deload for a week every 12 weeks or so) but ended up incidentally getting a skin infection, nothing too serious and the antibiotics seem to be sorting me out but it was right over my left elbow so any kind of movement was pretty painful! No need to focus on the negatives though, starting a new programme on Monday and can't wait to get this cut going properly! I find the key when cutting is little and, often so I'll put away 5 meals like this throughout the day, with a couple of shakes to keep my protein topped up!
