FIVE YEARS ago I was all about being as small as possible. I weighed 105lbs but wanted to be 100. I went to yoga, did an hour on the treadmill, and worked in some @toneitup
I ate McDonald’s every night, hardly ate at all during the day.
Drank alcohol pretty much every night of the week.
When I started crossfit, I hated it. It made me sore and I sucked at it. But I kept doing it because my “goal” was to be “toned”.
Not too long into it, I realized some things:
•I was getting stronger.
•I was doing things I never thought possible.
•I had confidence.
•I was eating healthier. I quit drinking.
•I made awesome friends.
I no longer did it to be as thin as possible. I did it to be as big and as strong as I could be.
The left picture, I was living an unhealthy lifestyle. When I think about it now, I wish I would’ve started this journey sooner, but it didn’t happen until I was 26 years old.
I will never stop or give up because I’ve come too far. And there is so much more to be done.
Don’t think about starting your new journey next Monday, or in the new year. Start right now. I promise you IT WILL BE WORTH IT! ✨
