THEN vs NOW.
I found an old photo of my forward fold- it was just last year!!! I had super tight hamstrings as you can tell from the picture, my belly was nowhere near my thigh, my nose was continents apart from my knee, alignment was totally off.
All I wanted was to get my palms flat on the mat which made everything wrong. I was stubborn and refused to bend my knees- I remember thinking it was embarrassing to have the knees bent or to use blocks. So silly 😅
I’ve learnt now and I use props all the time, it’s fine. Bye ego! There’s no shortcut in yoga and it takes time, loads of time. But trust me, it is all worth it.
