is... nailing your basics! Yes, you read that right. It's the same as all other advanced poses or transitions. I mean you can't run if you don't know how to walk right? 🤔 Hmm, maybe you can, but the chances of face-planting are pretty high. I'm definitely speaking from experience 😂😜.

posts (wrists, forward folds, core etc) sets you up for this so if you haven't seen them, you know what to do. 😉 Apply all of them to this. Plugging of femur into socket shown in picture 2️⃣ is key to nailing this.
How much to tip forward is dependent on your own body and limbs proportion - that you've got to figure it out for yourself. I would suggest piling the pillows in front of your face or do it near a wall, for you know, just in case 😅.
