💫 Sometimes you just have to take a breath. You just have to stop. You just have to take a moment and count to 10. Today has been one of those days, overwhelm, upset, slipping back into old patterns. But I noticed my reaction, I realised my actions, and I stopped myself from crashing down into the hectic pool of stress I would have ended up in the past. Sometimes it's people that trigger you, sometimes it's a situation, sometimes it's just a little bit of everything, but what matters is not the trigger but how you react. It won't always be a good reaction but as long as you're aware then that is enough, that is a step towards change and hopefully letting go of negative patterns that we've all built. 🙏🏽 Today I am truly grateful to my happy place; on my mat, music in my ears and connecting to my body, mind and breath.
