Diving back in history.
Sunken French ship called San Didier in 1942 during World War ll. The ship was camouflaged as a “hospital” ship serving those injured due to the war, but in reality it was carrying ammunition, jeeps, and weaponry to serve the German army. The British army launched heavy air attacks on the ship until finally sinking it down just at the Turkish harbor in Antalya. 200 soldiers were on board. 199 lives were lost, and 1 survived.
All remaining weaponry, jeeps, and ammunition remain untouched in the ship till date. You can easily spot a couple of RPG’s and explosives in the background.
This is one of the top 10 wreck diving sites in the world today.
