GAINS 🌿 Beauty is what it means to you.. . When I started @kayla_itsines BBG I couldn’t even do a push-up on my knees. 8lbs weight felt like cement blocks and straight leg sit-ups were impossible. At first my goal was to be skinny (max 140lbs and I’m 5’9 - what was I thinking??) but as I felt myself getting STRONGER my goals changed. I stopped aiming for a number on the scale and started focusing on heavier weights and better performance in workouts. The combination of BBG, lifting & running has fuelled my body to achieved things I never could have imagined were possible. Now I didnt start getting after it either until Sept so we really are only 2 1/2 months in. Amd yes, I still had a beer before todays workout. Haha.

Well Good Fucking Afternoon Goddamnit! Today was chest day! Flat bench is coming along great as I continue to work at it, but I'm definitely becoming more comfortable with the movement and weight now. Pretty much stuck to a 5x7,5,5,3,15 rep range. Then after that just did alot of isolation work to feel like a body builder lol. I have nothing to add to this as this is so true. You will get there, but only if you keep working on it, keep fighting for it, keep dreaming big and keeping pushing yourself to the limits. Nothing comes easy, but it sure won’t get easier when you quit and have to restart every single time. It will be harder...
