It's almost Friday! Pretty fast week for me. Remember at the beginning of the week when I asked what goals you'd want to accomplish? Well, how did you do?🤗🤗 ------------------------------------ So where are my short people at?! I, at 21 years old, stand 4 feet 11 inches tall. I'm a lot smaller than I look in my photos 😂 that being said, I find that my excess fat kind of condenses, much like stretching a piece of taffy versus condensing it more. I often wish I were taller to combat this. I find going through my first cut is harder because I see this fat and I feel worse about it, much like the pinch of back fat in the photo. I just try to remember that being taller wouldn't mean being healthier, but would just mean it's easier to hide. There is no shame in the fat pockets, and patience is lost for them to go away 😄 ------------------------------------ I hope everyone is having a wonderful and accountable day! 💥Build Your Own Full Body Workout💥 🌻 Need a full body workout on the fly? You’re in the right place 🙂. Putting together workouts can suck. Believe me, I know. With that being said, I wanted to throw you a life jacket. This should make it pretty easy to put a workout together and not have to think too much about it. 🌼 The template works from left to right, also notice that the sets and reps change from block to block. Another thing to note is that there are pretty wide ranges for sets and reps within each block. That’s because they will change based on your personal goals. If you’re going for fat loss/toning up you’ll stick to the higher side with fewer sets and if you’re looking to get stronger/build muscle you’ll be on the low side of reps with more sets. 🌸 Core/Mob- I normally have a more explosive movement to start off the session (power moves such as olympic lifts are the most taxing on the body) and I pair it with a stretch of some kind. For example if you have tight hamstrings you could perform 5-8 reps of the Sumo Squat to Stand stretch. This will double as the bulk of your rest period in between your explosive movement. 🌺 Main Moves- These are the “meat” of your workout. The power exercises will be hard, yes, but the main moves will have higher volume, use heavier weight (typically). These will be lower reps compared to the accessory block no matter what your goal is, strength is important regardless of goals. Period. 🌷 Accessory Work- With accessory work you’re typically going to get more reps in with less weight than what you do with “main moves” this is also where you’ll find smaller isolated muscle groups being used (main moves are compound, multi joint movements). Don’t think that because they aren’t as heavy that they aren’t important, though. Accessory work used in the right way will complement your main moves and allow you to keep progressing with them. 🌹 Cardio(ooooo)- Possibilities are endless here.
