I just recently saw this hashtag going around on twitter/ig. So time to speak up and share my story. About 3-4 years ago I was raped by my boyfriend at the time and I was manipulated into believing that it was my fault. Not only was I afraid to speak up but I put the blame on myself at the time and didn’t knowledge the damage that it had done to me mentally nor the seriousness of the matter. This happens. Regardless of the situation. Speak the fuck up for those who can’t. #Repost @dwinnerxfit ( @get_repost) ・・・ #MeToo 🌺 If all the women who have been sexually harassed or sexually assaulted share this picture with the hashtag #MeToo and change their Facebook/twitter statuses to #MeToo we might give people an idea of the MAGNITUDE of this issue. ✖️ LET'S TALK FACTS... * 1 in every 6 American women has been the victim of attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. * On average, there are 321,500 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States * As of 1998, an estimated 17.7 million American women had been victims of attempted or completed rape * These are only U.S. statistics- SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE! ✖️ If you feel like you can speak up about it comment, repost, share in your story... As part of the #MeToo campaign, of which yes I can say #MeToo, I would like to point out our country has in fact elected a sex offender. Great job. 😡 #notmypresident #wefuckinghatedonaldtrump #stoptheabuse #womensrights #standupandspeakout #impeachtrump #protectourgirls
To every ZOE and every woman who has experienced sexual assault and felt the fear that goes hand in hand with being a woman—I am sorry. #metoo
1 out of every 5 women will be raped in their lifetime. 1 out of every 71 men will be raped during their lifetime. Let that sink in. It's very easy to make jokes, point the finger and place blame, or say what you would or would not do until it's YOU or someone you love in the situation. I've been in a room where the one thing more than half of the women had in common was being raped and/or molested. There is no amount of Law & Order SVU episodes you can watch to let you know how truly traumatic it is. Sending lots of love and encouragement to all of my SURVIVORS out there!! You're still beautiful, you're still worthy 😘😘 #VictorsNotVictims #ForThoseWhoSufferAlone #RapeCulture #Sexualassualt #SexualHarassment #Sexawareness #Protectourwomen #Protectourgirls #Protectourmen #Protectourboys #womensrights #Metoo
Not all the story are made to be wrote and read. But all the story can be changed on a positive vibe. I’m not a woman and you can’t imagine or maybe. My story was not for today but if every single fucking guy act like a real man and can stay beside every woman which need help, the world can change for better place to live and respect each other! I was like 😳 ☝🏽I’ll be right back. Left the restaurant, and took my butt back to Queens. 🏃🏽‍♀️ #donotpassgo #metoo • • • • #me #makeupartist #womeninbusiness #womenempowerment #glowup #makeupartist #workflow #model #careergoals #newyork #brooklyn #queensgirl #facts #womensrights #humanrights #workplace #empoweredwomenempowerwomen #domesticviolenceawarenessmonth #wordoftheday #coldworld #sexualharassment

#METOO 😡 By "photographers" who should be sentenced to be forbidden to even think about touching a camera and camera enabled phones. 😞 😡 By ex classmates in high school 😡 By ex colleagues at work (Who are still married and have children, by the way) 😡 By a bunch of creeps at cafés and nightclubs ♣️ ♣️ ♣️ Ladies, Please don't be afraid to speak up when you get sexually harassed or raped. This must stop. It's time to find a cure against this kind of horrible cruelty. We, women, are human beings. Not objects. And still, we are being treated like convenient objects, as if we're a bunch of worthless, disposable equipments. I've seen too much of this since back in 7th grade. And I've never seen boys and men quitting this kind of behavior since then. Because of all of this, I'm ashamed of being a human being. I've had enough. Let's support each other and do whatever we can against this, shall we? ✊️
Women's rights should include me being able to walk through a park without clinching on to pepper spray out off fear. I was "cat called" by 3 different men on my walk home while I had both of my children in tow. Do I smile politely and accept it? or do I stick up for myself and potentially piss someone off while I have my precious babes? Do I teach my kids that this is something we must tolerate? What did they think when men were loudly yelling at their mother about her body, the body that they see wake up everyday and nurture them? I'm not a fucking object that's going to undress just because you yell at me and it's not fair that women have it worse than that every single day. Like come on now. Why are there still so many issues with society when we can literally go to the moon? #womensrights #metoo #womenempowerment #equality
🎞 Film Review: "Battle of the Sexes (2017)" • Directors: Jonathan Dayton, Valerie Faris • Writer: Simon Beaufoy . • Cast: Emma Stone, Steve Carell, Andrea Riseborough, Sarah Silverman, Bill Pullman, Alan Cumming, Elisabeth Shue • Genre: Drama / Comedy / Biography / Sport #FoxSearchlightPictures - No matter how times are tough these days, I'm just happy to see that people continue to fight for equality, and it's also great to see that carry on in films. "Battle of the Sexes" is the true story that took place in 1973 and is about how tennis champion Billie Jean King (Emma Stone) is challenged to a match by ex-champion Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell), as she fights for women's rights and deals were her sexuality. Now this is a movie that I didn't expect to like as much, but I thought this was surprisingly a pretty good film! This film is another great representation of how hard women fought for their equality because throughout the film we see a lot of men putting down King, and the other female players. The film does a great job of making you care for King, and you really feel her struggle and you want to root for her to prove everyone wrong! And that's due to Emma Stone's incredible performance as Billie Jean King! Carell also did a great job playing Bobby Riggs, and he played that charming, but untrustworthy character very well! Also another surprisingly good performance in the film was Sarah Silverman! I also loved the way this film was shot, because this is one of the rare movies that takes place in the 70's that feels like it was made in the 70's! And that's also due to it's great directing from Dayton and Faris who also directed one of my favorites "Little Miss Sunshine (2006)." My only big issues with the film is that there are certain scenes that overstay it's welcome that increased the film's length! But overall, I surprisingly enjoyed this film! It's definitely an uplifting film about women empowerment, and it's done very maturely. 👍 (8.2/10) (B+) - MichaelAngelo #BattleOfTheSexes #BillieJeanKing #BobbyRiggs #EmmaStone #SteveCarrell #JonathanDayton #ValerieFarris #films #movies #cinema #truestory #tennis #Biopic #sports #MovieReview #history #womensrights
