A lot of my new postnatal clients will often remark on aching backs and shoulders. Working on your upper body strength now ( whilst pregnant) and maintaining positive postural habits will be a huge benefit once baby is born. Kneeling t-spine mobilizations: . 🤜🏼 Think “chest up tall” and rotate as far as you can through your upper back, without moving your lower back (if you struggle to do this, sit your butt on your heels while you do these) . 🤜🏼 You should feel the stretch in your upper back and chest . Improving your t-spine (upper back) mobility is the easiest and best way to improve your posture, alignment and shoulder health, as well as improve nagging neck and lower back aches. . All which will lay a solid foundation for upper body strength. 💪🏼 . We do these for 6-8 reps/side in our warm ups and in between lifts 🙂

I love getting feedback from yoga students, this one is wonderful regarding pregnancy yoga "I love the flow and pace of the classes, the times and locations are good and you do an amazing job of remembering each persons specific needs. Anyone can do the postures because you cleverly tailor them to the individual, giving alternatives if postures are too hard or not challenging enough. Mindfulness is my favourite aspect and I love the breathing; I always struggled a bit with the breathing in other yoga classes but I feel like the penny has dropped now.
