CLASSICO “COSTA DELLE CORONE” 2008 “Beautiful and charming nose that hints at air-dried fruit but is neither overripe nor overwhelming; delightful inner-mouth perfume of violet, ripe red and black fruits, with spicy notes of pepper. Full and rich with nicely balancing acidity extending the flavors on the long back end.”
2014 Paringa Shiraz, South Australia, $12 AUD. Drink 2017 to 2023, 14.9%, Screw cap

“Deepish red colour with a tinge of brick development, the bouquet showing dried herbs and earth and other savoury characters. The wine is medium-bodied at best and firm-ish, with abundant ripe tannins and quite good depth of flavour, especially when the price is considered. The tannins are a trifle emery-like but the wine over-delivers in every way". Review by huonhooke.com 30/09/2017
ALTO ADIGE DOC SPUMANTE BRUT “PRAECLARUS” 2011 "A very nice sparkling wine, elegant and fresh, offering lovely aromas and flavors of apple and pear fruit. Well balanced, boasting good acidity and texture, with an interesting and lingering long finish."
