🌺Today was slow, overflowing with the most uncomfortable emotions… a few things I learnt (and relearnt) today: 1. It's okay to stay in bed all day sometimes if you don’t feel mentally/emotionally capable of doing anything else. Don’t feel guilty or call yourself lazy. 2. Protect your energy. 3. Prioritizing your emotional health is not selfish or lazy. You’re not wasting time. 4. It’s okay to slow down/not get everything on your list done. 5. You’re not broken. You don’t need to be fixed. 6. Talk to someone. 7. Be kind to yourself and to your feelings. Acknowledge them. 8. Give yourself time to process and heal. 9. Food is fuel. You don’t need to do anything to “deserve” it. You always deserve it. 10. It’s okay to cry for hours on end. Your emotions are valid. 11. Just because you feel like you’re suffocating doesn’t mean everything you’re doing for self-care is fruitless/isn’t working. It is a slow, sometimes seemingly cyclical process. You’ll remember how to breath again soon enough. #mentalhealth 🙏🏽🌙

After working 2.5 weeks straight and hardly letting up with workouts I could feel my body start to shut down this past week. All sorts of soreness and aches forced me to power down for a couple days. Still not 💯 but felt decently recharged after tonight's workout. Enough so to find some half natty lighting and strike some lame ass poses 😝 #VeganStrong 🌱💪
Last weekend, a couple of friends and I grabbed dinner at @choolaahindianbbq. I was so happy they have tons of vegan and dairy-free options! I got a BBQ bowl with veggie croquette and chickpea masala, with naan on the side. Looking forward to going back soon! 😋
