entry :: On Friday, a fifth alarm fire hit the Helping Land community in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. On Saturday,
team were able to come back to this community to see the kids we helped out during this trip as well as see the aftermath of the fire. These kids literally don't have much but they still have the drive to live happy and humble. These kids exemplify "newness, possibility, and striking out on their own." Because of that, they helped me get inspired about this post.

*A little insight on this trip*
This past week and a half I was able to travel to the Philippines and help with a project collaborated with @empireintheair
, and @projectpearls.
Some of the kids of #projectpearls
live in the slums of the Philippines and one of the locations we helped out was the Helping Land community of Tondo, Manila, Philippines. For the majority of our Art Of Us team (4 out of 6 of us), it was our first time coming to the Philippines, and the first time exploring the "non-touristy" spots of the country. We entered this trip not knowing what to expect, but ended it with an eye-opening and life changing experience!
