👋🏾 Still alive and kicking. Loads of people have unfollowed which I feel kind of sad about, particularly the ones I thought I had a connection with. I’m quite reserved and shy person but some of you know I’ve been training as an actress. We train 14-16 hours a day of classes and rehearsal I do ballet, stage combat, Pilates, animal movement, yoga, physical improv and many other things and I’ve never felt so fit. Actors are athletes! Regardless where it takes me, I’m grateful for all that I’ve learned so far! That includes realising that I have #Dyspraxia.
I never even heard of it until it was suggested I may have it! Drama school has been one revelation after another and a combination of such privileged experiences. Sometimes I need to take a step back and pinch myself. I am a product of Nigerian immigrants and sometimes I can hardly believe how amazing my life can be at times. I truly put it down to taking risks and stepping out of your comfort zone. I don’t think I would be where I am or experience things if I stayed put and listened to the voice in my head. There are material things I miss like the latest handbag and shoes - all those things are TDF but there’s something about putting money towards yourself or a cause or a dream that’s much bigger than you. Even if it dies, I can say I tried. Photo by @fixated_f
