Sunday night’s Arcade Fire show at the Wells Fargo Center was epic. They are so good live, it’s actually helpful to be reminded of that every few years when they come around on tour. And this one was easily one of their best. Which is crazy, given how good their early shows were.
Speaking of their early shows, they dedicated this performance of No Cars Go at Sunday’s show (video above, in four parts; watch all four) to all of their early Philly fans in attendance who saw them perform at the First Unitarian Church way back in 2004. I was there (twice) — hi @arcadefire

, crammed into the tiny, hot basement venue on Chestnut Street with maybe 250 other people to see Arcade Fire crush a live set that included Neighborhood #1
(Tunnels), Rebellion (Lies), Neighborhood #3
(Power Out), No Cars Go and Wake Up among others.
So, yeah, that was definitely an unforgettable concert. But Sunday’s concert was right up there.
Overall, incredible show. 👏👏👏 Can’t wait until the next time. Highly recommend going to see them on the current tour if you have the chance. Well worth the price of admission.
