TRACKING MACROS VS INTUITIVE EATING โœจโœจ this post has been a long time coming but Iโ€™m really quite proud to say that Iโ€™ve managed to not track anything now for just over a week, after god knows how long of not being able to end the habit. Now Iโ€™m not for a minute saying that tracking is a bad thing- itโ€™s been incredibly useful for me to work out how much protein I need, and has helped me to learn a lot about what Iโ€™m putting into my body. However, for me itโ€™s definitely been something which has always had disordered elements to it, and something that has caused me to feel stressed etc unnecessarily. I felt as if I needed to track in order to feel in control, but I can honestly say that Iโ€™ve felt so free the past week without it- no Iโ€™m not suddenly eating loads more, Iโ€™m just really trying to listen to my body and go with the flow of socializing and not planning all my food in advance so that I donโ€™t panic. Maybe I will end up going back to it if I feel itโ€™s necessary, but for now Iโ€™m just focusing on eating food that I crave, keep me satisfied and include the main macronutrients so that I know itโ€™s a balanced meal. I really really really enjoyed this leg workout ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ inknow my buns will be aching later but it was worth it. I had 2 minis distracting me and throwing stuff at each other but ingot her done and finished with a โ€œhmm that one was really funโ€ attitude. Another big day for us. With the hubby gone doing snow removal for our first snow it means Iโ€™m alone with the kiddos and itโ€™s haaaaaard patience wise. This pregnancy is taking so much out of me caring for 2 other small ones itโ€™s insane. All i can do is my best โค๏ธ

Yogurt is not as healthy as you may believe ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ Dairy in general is not meant for humans (duh, weโ€™re not ๐Ÿฎโ€™s right?) and on top of all the issues that come with consuming dairy, they usually add TONS of sugar to yogurt (especially low-fat ones).. so although yogurt may seem like a healthy option, try opting out and replacing with with something else... or sugar-free plain cashew milk yogurt โœจ Iโ€™ve been loving adding a spoonful on top of my overnight oats before eating them in the morning..... soooo good ๐Ÿ˜ HAPPY SUNDAY!
Strong weekend of vegan eating around Nottingham... did @yosushi whereโ€™s thereโ€™s some decent options (edamame, seaweed, veg tempura, pumpkin Katsu, aubergine, all ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป) then Nottingham vegan market (this is a cheese and @marmite filled flatbread!! ๐Ÿ˜ and a jalapeรฑo sausage roll ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป) and Sunday roast at @peacocknottingham which is a pub in Nottingham with an all vegan menu!
