According to classic Chaos Theory, the opposite of order is randomness. Chaos is the transitional continuum that ties the two together. The greatest beauty and most satisfying expression of underlying structure is found most often in the nexus and no example makes that more evident than the branches of a deciduous tree in full foliage.
With the notable exceptions of peacock feathers and the planet Earth as seen from space, blue and green have a checkered reputation as to being seen together. I submit that in circumstances like this image, some accommodation should be made for the visual impact they demonstrate here. Sporting vibrant green leaves against a cloudless blue sky with charcoal black branches hinting at a purpose for it all, this impressive spray of form and colour qualifies, for me at least, as"eye candy".
