Yesterday's Self Defense Shooting Vehicle & Structure Class @homesteadtrainingcenter
Student's were exposed to real life scenarios that could happen as they enter & exit a vehicle as well, moving towards a structure /home as well as exiting a building w/ their hands full. At times going straight to a deadly force encounter and at times getting physically attacked and having to hit, kick, knee the attacker for 1.5-2 minutes before being able to get to their #EDC
and dealing with other threats that are coming around from the side of the building or exiting their home. As the scenario ends, still focused on possible threat's, getting their phone out and simulate calling 911 while Instructors question you as the 911 Operator. Good way to test your situational awareness, target identification under stress with elevated heart rate, breathing out of wack (it's more than standing still shooting paper targets) and stressing loud verbal commands during each run. Each relay involved both Threat and Non Threat targets. If you shoot a clearly Non-Threat target before you start the next scenario then you start off with 10 push ups per bullet fired at that target. Debrief after each scenario.
