Pro Blonde Tip:
Love being SUPER blonde, but feel washed out the first couple weeks after getting it done?
I used to too!
Have you looked at your brows lately?
Your brows frame your face, so if they're blonde or fine or thin or just don't have much shape, you're going to feel washed out when you brighten your hair (your secondary frame of your face)! You can get your brows waxed and tinted by a professional (Molly at Slate Salon in Edmonds is who does mine). Or if you have a shape you like you can easily fill them in with a pencil, cream, mouse, powder, whatever you find easiest!
If you have highlights/balayage aim to have your brows within 1-2 shades of your natural/base color.
If you're solid blonde or a really heavy highlighted foil (where you really have no idea what color your natural is) aim to have your brows 2-3 shades darker than your blonde.
It will feel SO weird at first- like all you see when you look in the mirror is brows.
But I promise you (ease yourself into it)- it makes SUCH a difference!
No one wants to feel like they need heavy black liner, lashes and lipstick just to feel put together.
Fix your brows. Throw on a little mascara (if you're like me and have clear eye lashes/if you have dark lashes I'm SO jealous of you), maybe a swipe of blush and a gloss or balm and you look like you have your life together! 🤷🏼♀️ Even if you don't 🤣
