With the holidays coming up we are going to be putting our hair through the ringer as we style and glam the nights away with our luscious locks and trendy styles. So here's a preview of my article on protecting your hair from the heat with some tips and tricks to keep your hair healthy through the new year!
1. Set the right temperature. - normal hair begins to burn at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. For fine or damaged hair it's even lower. Start with the temp on your irons and dryers as low as you can, and work your way up with the heat.
2. Use heat protectant. - this provides a barrier between you hair and the heat so you aren't placing high temps directly on you beautiful mane.

3. Use the One and done rule- don't go over the same section of hair with heated tools. It is a quick and easy way to damage your hair.
