HELP! 2nd Night on Kill List -Public must adopt or foster this publicly adoptable dog BEFORE 12pm tomorrow 4-29-2017, otherwise it will be killed at #Brooklyn
Meet #HEDWIG #A1108834.
I am a neutered male gray and white #staffordshire
mix. The shelter thinks I am about 5 YEARS old. I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 04/14/2017. Hedwig is at risk a highly treatable dog cold or KENNEL COUGH.
A staff member writes: When I first interacted with Hedwig, he was very #shy.
He didn’t #solicit
attention, and when I would pet him he would tuck his head down. For the past week since his arrival I have been taking him outside to the yard and spending time with him. The dog that he is now is so much different than the dog he was when he first got here. He now jumps up to give #hugs,
he lets you #pet
him anywhere, and for the first time I’ve ever seen, he’s given me a bunch of #kisses!!
He love to play and run around and he just is so #sweet
that I look forward to seeing him first thing in the morning when I get here. But I look forward to seeing him finding his forever home even more, because he desrves that chance!! HEDWIG IS A MUST CHECK OUT!!!
Another volunteer writes: Without fail, whenever I walk Hedwig he gets cat calls as we walk down the street! He is a big #stunning
boy with #bright
eyes and, although sometimes hidden by nerves, he’s made of mush! We don’t know anything about his past, but he looks well-cared for, loves to play with toys, seems #housebroken,
and eagerly sits for treats. He whines for attention from his cage when I pass, and softly wags his tail at the gaggle of #admirers
we encounter outside. He can still be a bit #anxious
but it seems mostly due to finding himself in a strange place. He can’t wait to find a place to call “home” again…please come see him at Brooklyn ACC!
If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering him, email helpdogs @urgentpodr.org.
