A little #tbt transformation for ya! On the ⬅️ I am 5 days #postpartum and the ➡️ was just a few days ago (being 1 year and 15 days postpartum). It’s crazy how much your body changes during and even AFTER pregnancy! You don’t really hear a lot of talk about what happens after you give birth 🤰🏼. One topic being: The fact that your stomach can take a lot more time and energy to get back or even close to where it was pre baby. Depending on the pregnancy some women’s stomachs may never look the same. I was blessed with good genetics, but ☝🏼 also a strong will! I won’t let good genes take all the credit because I have spent countless hours in the gym, as well as making sure I am getting the right nutrition in order to get to where I am today! Just remember all you #moms and #momtobes out there that it’s going to take time, if you’re not where you want to be after 6 months or even a year, be patient, diligent and stay strong. You’ll get there if that’s where you want to be in accordance to your hard work! But most importantly remember you’re beautiful!! Stripes, lose skin, that damn belly button that won’t go back to being an inny and ALL!!! Take pride in your body. Weighing in at 127 most days and some days 132-- can't say I'm too happy but as long as I can get my training in and everything feels good, I suppose I can't be that upset. Squats and deads tonight. I had it in my head that I am to do 5 sets of 8 x 160 on squats so I get to set 4 dying and I had to double check if I really had to do 5..was very relieved to know I could stop there. Sets of 2x 8 conventional deadlifts, stiff leg, and lunges. WEEK 1 vs. WEEK 16 I remember sitting in my closet crying after I took this first photo. I seriously "How did I let myself get to this point?” “Is this what I really look like?” I was at ROCK BOTTOM.
