This is one of my favorite verses. It is a prophecy in Isaiah of the Birth of Christ. It reminds me of everything Jesus is for me Counselor, Everlasting Father, Peace and Mighty. All to be wrapped up in a small child that will become a Mighty man and “there will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace” Isaiah 9:7 that is such good news too in this world we live of a government that is in unrest. It’s great reminder of why it is so important to have, seek and trust in our Mighty God.
