Thank you Matt! #Repost @mattspencer18
Life can be described as a rollercoaster, a series of ups and downs. When you improve your ability to navigate the difficult times, you not only live a happier life but you also grow as a person.
So, you might be wondering "Matt how can I cope with hard times, I'm struggling to think of anything" here are my suggestions below:
1. Stay positive - When you stay positive, your putting yourself in the best position possible to make it through. Remind yourself there really is a light at the end of the tunnel, it's YOU!
2. Try to be creative - It's important to try and step back and look at the bigger picture. You may discover something new from doing this whist working to make the situation better.
3. Personal growth - Try to embrace the difficulties and struggles in your life. There is a sliver lining out there guiding you through anything.
4. Know what your grateful for - Write things down or think about the things your grateful for in your life. Think of someone in your life, maybe give them a call?
5. Focus on what you can control - Focus on what you can control because that's the only way you can help move forward. Think about your reactions and always most importantly think your good enough to do that.
6. Look at your journey - Sometimes we never look back to see how far we have come. Give yourself credit for everything you have already done. The light at the end of the tunnel will get brighter when you see progress you have made.
7. Be kind to yourself - Realise your a very special person. Whatever you face won't last and you will come out the other side. Keep believing, know that there is something greater inside of you greater any an obstacle.
