Please save yourself from injury- it was torturous healing process. I stretch after every workout. Whether I’m weightlifting or running, it’s my time to loosen up my body. I shut off my music and really pay close attention to each muscle at a time. I thank my body for allowing me to use it properly and close up with some light breathing. Our bodies are meant to be strong and cared for. Biggest transformation of my life coming up and I'm doing all I can to prepare 🤰 31 weeks pregnant, preparing for a new adventure, and trying to maintain those feel good habits that I know will help me stay sane once our baby arrives. Before I got pregnant, I was told that I wouldn't feel like working out, I would just want to rest, I won't feel good, my balance would be too far off to workout, and people still hold into the myth that exercise during pregnancy is unhealthy or risky. I call BS. I had the opposite experience. Unless there is a risk factor and your doctor recommends that you reframe from exercise or make modifications beyond can the normal preggo mods then you continue your normal routine with some modifications. Of course always check with your doc but that's what I was told 😊 This is from my workout yesterday where I did T25. And I rocked this workout better at 31 weeks pregnant than I did 3 years ago when I first started the program. I have gained about 32 lbs during this pregnancy and could early see where all this weight planted itself when I reviewed this video today. It's a lot and all in my problem areas but its ok. Its part normal weight gain and part too many carbs that first trimester to keep from feeling sick😷 And I know that when I am cleared to workout postpartum, I will have all the tools I need to get back to where I want without having to leave my house. 80 Day Obsession will be waiting for me🏋️‍♀️ If I could start this journey three years ago and get where I am today, then so can you. It just takes time, patience, and the willingness to forgive yourself and move on if you fell off the wagon.

В межсезонье практически не делаю изолированные упражнения на трицепс, на подготовке включаю одно упражнение на эту группу мышц в неделю. Чередую. Одна неделя - блок, другая - французский жим (легкий, чтобы не расшатывать локти). Когда соревнования совсем близко, на тренировках делаю акцент на трицепс еще больше: как в подсобке, так и в базовых упражнениях. /// I don't do isolation exercises for my triceps in the offseason, just bacis lifts. Preparing to the meet I train triceps once a week. One week - pushdowns, the other week - french bench press (with light weight, in order not to harm my elbows). When the competition is very close, I focus on triceps even more - both in isolation and bacis movements.
The past couple mornings I felt shitty and when I have a digestion flare up that’s when I notice I feel the most miserable, the most unenergized, and don’t expect me to lift anywhere close to my PR. Yesterday rather than forcing myself to go to the gym I took a rest day, and even though this morning I didn’t feel 100% I still went and I just went up to my reppin weight of 185 pounds for five sets of five. I focused on form and feeling the movement. I also am training myself to be able to do consecutive pull-ups or even a pull up in general because I’m sad and can’t do one. I don’t train to do pull ups so something I don’t train I won’t be able to do because my muscles aren’t used to moving in that specific way. Had to give myself a lil pep talk today after my workout. It's always discouraging to find that certain strengths seem to have gone down instead of up. But in the long run, it doesn't really matter. Not every workout is going to be great. It's not a linear progress. As long as you are examing what you are doing and putting the effort in, results will come. Stay patient, don't rush, don't put yourself down. If you are consistent, you will get there. DISCIPLINE WEIGHS OUNCES, REGRET WEIGHS TONNES 💪 Waking up early is difficult 😫 Working long hours is arduous and tiring 😴 Sacrificing certain aspects of life feels difficult at the time. However, none of this compares to the weight of regret. I've had the privilege to work with people across all age ranges and all walks of life. From some people, we're told, "you're only young, take your time, you've got the rest of your life ahead of you." Whilst there is wisdom in this, I've also been told to get after it and grind and work hard to achieve what you want to achieve, as soon as possible. Regret bears down on the bigger decisions that you were made in life. Whether you chose to stay in the job your hate, or you chose to quit the gym. That decision feels like a big weight to burden at some point in life. Discipline however, accounts for the small decisions/actions that build over time.
