Hanging out with @krisatkinswrites
today so you might see this same cake twice if you're following both of us 😂😜Make sure to check out #tykinschallenge
to see how you can win one of two bookish prize boxes!
challenge today is to share three things you might not know about me, so here goes:
1) I'm taking a ballet class for the first time in my life. I'm thirty, and the second-oldest girl is 11.
2) I used to write Harry Potter fanfic around 2001-2004. It was a whole new world back then, and I read all of Cassandra Claire's stuff, and yes, it forever affected the way I see Draco Malfoy.
3) Kris and I have only known each other in "real life" for just over a year! We were online friends who met through writing blogs and mutual critique partners before that. When I moved to CO, she just happened to be here!
Didn't see that coming: both life of Pi and 100 Years have brilliant, unexpected endings. #bookstabingo
Favorite animal character: Richard Parker forever. #booksofjune17
Rainbow books: this is definitely the most rainbowiest post I've ever made. #hellosummerjune17
Book with an important message: I love how 100 Years shows the passage of generations, and the twist in Life of Pi is so wonderfully meaningful. #tinybookjune
Happy and sad: all of these qualify for sure. Bittersweet stories. #squeakybookishlibrary
And of course, today's #tykinschallenge
is SPRINKLES! Or spices. But we both know which of those is more photogenic, come on.
Have you heard of
