I call it the Wall of Light. Looks like overkill, but is completely necessary. Hockey ice is pure white and very reflective. So, the amount of light required to expose something in front of it, especially when lit for broadcast, is quite high. Add more than one subject and the amount can double or even triple. I could get away with fewer lights, but then I’d have to remove diffusion, and the light would be harsh and directional, causing shadows if the talent looks anywhere but at the camera. My way, the light is diffused, flattering, and the talent can feel free to interact with each other or their surroundings. Working here with @accessiblemediainc
