Most people would never associate their decreased mental clarity, brain fog, or fatigue to the cheese pizza they just ate for dinner. 🍕🙀But let me assure you, as much as we all love cheese, dairy is one of the most inflammatory foods you can eat. Cheese, specifically, isn't even cheese anymore in some cases. Many of the "cheese" slices don't even say cheese on the package, because...well, they aren't cheese. They're a mix of fillers, stabilizers & chemicals to fool your tastebuds! Moreover, unless it states so, cheese is chock full of hormones such as recombinant growth hormone, which disrupt YOUR delicate balance of hormones. Ladies-try to avoid cheese during your monthly cycle-it will exacerbate symptoms of an estrogen dominance like cramps, heavy bleeding, mood swings, & back pain! And who wants that ish?! NO ONEEEE.
Don't forget about antibiotics too! In fact, 80% of antibiotics in this country are not made for humans-but animals like cows, who are forced to live in horrendous conditions in factory farms. They require antibiotics as they are subject to so many infections due to the unsatisfactory conditions. Ugh! 🍕
The scariest part of all this is the fact that cheese releases something into your bloodstream called EXORPHINS that do cross the blood brain barrier. That's why you feel mentally drained after eating cheese! Exorphins are similar to ENDOrphins, which are released naturally when we ride a rollercoaster, have sex or run long distances. Cheese contains a certain type of Exorphin, called casomorphins which bind to the same receptors in our brains that narcotics like morphine bind to, hence the addictive quality of cheese! It is a DRUG by this definition. Since Exorphins are inflammatory, over time they lead to chronic conditions & all over body Inflammation. Many recent research studies have now linked worsening heart disease, type 1 diabetes, autism & schizophrenia. In fact, there are autistic & schizophrenic patients who have improved once they stopped eating inflammatory foods like cheese, wheat, & sugar. Its all linked to GUT HEALTH! .
