This was NOT the face/attitude I had first waking up this morning. I hit snooze a few times then bitterly convinced myself to get out of bed😂 Remembering how much better I feel starting my day with a workout (still, I wasn’t very happy about it). Once I got started, my attitude slowly improved and by the end, I was awake and ready to go💪🏼 Not every morning is going to be easy, you won’t always pop out of bed BUT there are a few tips to make it easier on yourself. So when you are having those rough mornings, you have less to battle with.
1. I sleep in my workout clothes and lay my tennis shoes right by my bed. It’s less to do in the morning and I can literally roll out of bed, slip my shoes on and go.
2. Set your phone or alarm across the room so you have to get out of bed to shut it off.
3. Set your water or pre-workout out on the counter so it’s ready to prepare.
4. Accountability buddies are great! Have someone you text or check-in with to make sure you did your workout.
These things have been helpful to me and I hope they are to you as well. Getting in a morning workout routine takes time but it is such a wonderful way to start the day and it feels great to get my workout done that early. Happy Tuesday, all!
