Throwback to a cold and somewhat miserable morning late Spring when I headed to the @visitcairngorms
national park to shoot with north-east based couple Geddes Murray and Rachael Murray. Geddes was in training for the 2017 Celtman Extreme Scottish Triathlon and we'd planned to shoot on the race course, along the 1000m+ high ridge of Beinn Eighe. A poor weather forecast though saw us head east to the Cairngorms which gave a more positive outlook for dawn. Despite this though, our 3.30am start went unrewarded and there was no hint of a glorious sunrise. On the plus side, the Loch A'an basin is never a bad place to spend the morning.
Geddes went on to successfully complete his Celtman, in a time of 16:27:06. Check out the @cxtri
feed in the days to come for some of my photos from the race.
