Haven't been #sewing
and posting on my fb page or a while. But I was far from having a hiatus... i was and am still just very busy juggling work and kids with little sleep (i'm sure this sounds familiar) hence sewing has to take the back seat.
I've gone so quiet on mumcraft fb for so long that it felt foreign to me. The page has gone from being a spinoff from my #craft #blog
to a market place for handmade carrier accessories, and now that i don't so anymore... Every now and then a message notification from the page would come through and remind me of my little sewing biz - one that i built out of my desperation and the many good folks that i have got to know through my journey.
making biz is one good experience that have taught me much. I've met the sweetest, most generous and giving people. Made a few very good friends but also had my share of crap... But all in all, we all have good and not-so-nice sides la... So nothing to be too upset about.
If you are new to the carrier craze. My take is really to live and carry within your means. There us nothing wrong have a plenty #tula, #wrap, #lennylamb, #kkd
or whatever brands you can name. But there is nothing wrong working with 1 carrier too. As long as it works for you. If you can afford the works, go for it. Whatever that would allow you to enjoy your baby carrying experience. Otherwise... go for the practical stuff. I have met enough people in the verge of addiction, to honestly say that anything in too much access and being too obsessed is unhealthy. So beyond the carrier, carry your baby's interest and your mental health close to your heart💗. My hands are full, so won't be sewing for now... but i'll still be here. May not be taking orders but will still run it like a blog page (since no must time to blog frequently either). So hey, dun be a stranger. 😄 #mumcraft #sgmombloggers #babywearingsg
