In creating Bandanña and promoting awareness of the little printed square with a million stories and ways we are interconnected, I would never have imagined receiving the heartfelt email below. From John, pictured. .
"A few months ago I was one of the very lucky ones that splurged and was able to buy a set of your bandanas on sale before you changed your packaging.
My family eventually sent those wonderful bandanas to my wife and I here in Guyana where we are Peace Corps volunteers working in elementary schools teaching phonics and Mathematics. The package was a rarity for us and all the more special because your bandanas are truly beautiful.
Flash forward to yesterday while we were waiting on a jungle dock to catch a boat. A rain storm came through and blew our Black Glorieta bandana into a mighty river. Despite my searching and swimming, it proved to be lost. .
We had used that bandana and the other two (which are still thankfully with us!) as a headband, sweat towel, lunch sack, dandy neck scarf, and occasionally for filtering heavy sediment on our water tap. The bandana was just starting to lose its stiff feeling of being new."
He went on to ask if I had any more at that special price and I happily mailed him and his lovely gal, Karin a care package. I feel so blessed to have this incredible connection with thoughtful customers and Fandanñas around the globe! ❤️
