👋👋👋👋 Not sure when I became but I've recognized it over the years... and Im not talking just: "awe, you had a bad day!? Let's stuff our faces!" Kind of emotional eater... I'm talking about:

🤔 Go open the fridge!
😍 ICE CREAMMMMM!
🖕 Gonna go eat something.
That time of the month? 😑 F it. Let's eat.
Having #fitness #goals
and a set meal plan has helped with that IMMENSELY... Im in a routine and I know what Im eating and at what time Im eating it. But that doesn't always stop me from heading over to the pantry, or eating Jax's left over slobbery poptart (yesterday 🙄). Today I wanted to talk about #selfcontrol
cause y'all... 3 of the above scenarios hit me all at once this morning and I almost baked an entire #pizza
at 11am, trying all the while to convince myself it was for Jax's lunch. 😂😂😂 🤚 please.
So, I asked myself, knowing damn well I was going to eat 3/4ths of that pizza.... "How will that help you get where you want to be?" My answer: It wont. Good. Put the pizza back, and step away.
And then I made a #salad.
But heres the thing, that question doesn't just apply to eating. It can and should apply in every decision you make on a daily basis. "How will that help you get where you want to be?" 😍 and then have the self control to follow your answer. 👈 the hardest part. It denies you of instant gratification. But it fulfills you so much more in the long run, you guys.
And just for the record: this does NOT mean I wont eat the pizza. Ima eat the pizza. Ima plan for it, eat it with a friend over a nice glass of #wine
and amazing #convo.
Not because I was cranky, angry and pms'ing, trying to eat my #feelings
