(NEW EMPLOYEE UPDATE: Following a long, gruelling legal dispute between our HR team at Sandwich HQ and @AliciaLouisee ’s representatives, we have come to the agreement that we will be welcoming her back as a full-time paid member of our design team. Some bad words were previously said by both parties after her firing (including some quite derogatory and upsetting ones from yours truly), but I’m happy to say we’ve worked through it and we can now move on. I’m legally obliged to publicly apologise for defaming her and claiming she did not deserve a salary. She has also apologised for some of her actions, specifically for the threats she sent me and my family while I was in hospital. I’m glad we have now made peace. While not strictly a sandwich (this was a muffin), for the sake of being able to keep a diverse and wide set of sandwiches to review, we at Sandwich HQ are calling this a sandwich. . The *sandwich* was nice because it was warm, it had good quality meat and the bread had a cute contrast of fluff and crunch. The textures were satisfying in the oral and the smells were delightful for the nasal. The wordplay on the packaging (changing Leon to Noel) was also hilarious. . Unfortunately though, it didn’t scream Christmas, and therefore it had to be marked down. The cranberry was scarce, there was no turkey, and there wasn’t even probably maybe a consideration for the inclusion of stuffing. Welcome to our range of horseshoe shape #curedsausage. All our meat products are gluten and #lactosefree. Our producer is located few kilometers away from “Altopiano della Giara”, he is rooted in a strong family tradition. For over 50 years Paolo and his brothers have been making salami and sausages with ancient local recipes, which they have jealously guarded. The company, which is still a small family business even today, sells its artisan products in the local #butcher in his old town. #Sardinia has a great salami making tradition and cured sausages are considered the ultimate Sardinian #curedmeat product. Our delicious range of cured sausage, made from fresh, firm and top quality #porkmeat is a quintessential Sardinian salami. The Sausage are made from coarsely ground pork shoulder and belly; it's flavoured with salt, pepper, and garlic, then stuffed into into natural gut casing, formed into a horseshoe shape, it's then drained and cured at least 3 weeks. Each salsiccia sarda weighs 300-400 grams on average. The soft distinctive U-shaped, course grind, salami is available in original, Salsiccia Sarda “Tradizionale” marinated in Cannonau and Monica #redwine with a gentle spicy aftertaste. Salsiccia Sarda al Mirto, made with local myrtle Leaves. The leaves are dried naturally and mixed to the ground meat in the making process, the moist from the meat and fat realize all the myrtle flavour. It's a very herby aromatic salami with lovely myrtle smell. #SalsicciaSarda al finocchietto selvatico, made with local fennel seed from Marmilla. It has a delicate well balance #fennel flavour that match perfectly with the meat flavour. Salsiccia Sarda Piccante, made with sun-dried #chili made into powder and mixed into the meat during the final stages of the sausage.
