has a super trendy retro fit-out with wooden booths, plastic flower globes, and an oldschool bar. The place smells like a wood fire and is remeniscant of a wood cabin. They were off to a good start. And they did not disappoint. They really nailed the seasonal farm-to-table brief. We ate charred leaks with leak ash, toasted grains and house-made goats curd, calamari with purple kohlrabi and brown butter sauce, yabby crackers, oysters with blood orange, and parsnips with horsradish and hazelnuts. The highlights of the night however were the house-made sourdough with house churned cultured butter and above all the blue eye with beef fat, and candied pumpkin seeds served inside a smokey silverbeet leaf parcel. MIND BLOWING!!! The drinks selection was also an absolute winner!! This is another pick for hats next year.
