❗️WARNING❗️If you are squeamish don’t swipe left.
This weekend was crazy. After a less than stellar week, we came home on Thursday evening to find Murdock was very sick. He wouldn’t eat or drink. Wouldn’t get up. Had vomited multiple times. Around midnight he took a turn for the worse so we rushed him to the hospital. X-rays showed a foreign body in his GI tracked. After fluids and meds he still wasn’t able to pass it and went into surgery on Friday. The surgeon was able to move the object back into the stomach and make an incision there to remove it. After surgery the little guy was apparently doing summersaults in his cage, back to his normal crazy self. We barely slept the 48 hours without him. It was so stressful and heartbreaking to see him so sick, but the AMAZING team at #bostonwestvet
walked us through this terrifying experience with kindness and expertise. We could not be more thankful for the wonderful team at Boston West. Every single person we talked to was kind and patient. They were very clear and straightforward through the whole process, explaining each procedure, each test, each step thoroughly. We can never repay them for their kindness. We can never repay them for taking such good care of our baby and for saving him. Having him back home and cuddling in my arms is the greatest Christmas gift I could ever ask for. ❤️💚❤️💚❤️
