- This is sad. Take a good, hard look at this picture.
This is just ONE euthanasia day in ONE shelter. This happens everyday in shelters all over this country. These dogs were once pets. They were the products of "accidental" litters. They were the "free to good home" puppies posted in every online yard sale group, they were the old and no longer wanted, the "moving and can't take" dogs, the "we don't have enough time for him" dogs, the "we're having a baby" dogs, unclaimed strays, beloved family members of people who passed away and never made a plan for their animals..... All of them had a story, and none of them deserved to have their stories end like this. Please, spay and neuter your pets. Foster or adopt and don't shop. Encourage your friends and family to do the same. Adopt ONLY from rescues who alter their animals prior to adoption. If your local rescues are not altering prior to adoption... ask them WHY?
Don't buy from breeders or online Pet searches. Raise your children to be RESPONSIBLE pet owners. Volunteer or donate to your local rescues and shelters who help control the pet population by adopting out altered animals. Please HELP US put an end to suffering and overpopulation. You CAN make a change... - #regrann
