Hungry in between meals. Grab a piece of fruit. If one doesn't fill you, eat two or three. People are overly concerned about the carb content of fruit, but go instead for a candy bar or chips, like they're doing themselves a favor. Sometimes people may gain weight when they try including more fruit, so go for lower glycemic and easier to digest fruits and see if that makes a difference for you (thus, not a banana, but perhaps blueberries).
Two or three fresh fruits at a time for a snack can be just the shift you need to kick your health regimen in higher gear.
