Bring right knee to the ground and extend your left leg out as if you were lunging. 3. On your exhales shift your hips forward for the stretch and release in the right hip flexor. 4. Repeat 3-5X 5. STAYING IN SHAPE ALL YEAR —- I see many people wanting to get into, and stay in shape permanently. However, most people like the idea and image of being lean based on other people’s perception of them and not their own. YOU are setting yourself up for failure from the get go! —— 1. You need to VALUE getting into shape. 2. You need to be DEDICATED to training and your nutrition. 3. You don’t need to count calories to lose bodyfat, but calories will always count.....What do you do when the fatloss stops if you don’t track your macronutrients and fibre? 4. It’s needs to be a lifestyle change that is sustainable! I see so many people go far too extreme with calorie deficits , plateau, lose progression, end up totally overeating and banging on the pounds (it’s mostly trainers that do this which surprises me). In my opinion coaches should be in shape all year round unless injury or illness inhibits this. If not, they don’t value health and fitness enough or don’t know what they are doing. 5. You need to find a GOOD COACH to get advice from, coach you, or preferably both. This will set you up for longevity, progression, knowledge and sustainably. This is an investment that will benefit you! 6. You need to establish clarity and purpose for training and nutrition, this will help you remain on track with your goals! 7. Probably the most important in my opinion; you need to surround yourself with like minded individuals that have similar purpose, goals and values that you have! Otherwise you will not progress in anything you do and become stale. —— Get your mind in the right place and your goals written down with clarity and purpose. This will set you up for success.

I tried aquafitness & I got to tell you, it was an experience! 💦💦💦 What are the benefits? Cardio and endurance, without a doubt, and also strength thanks to the resistance provided by the water. 💦 💦 💦 I was sweating and breathing hard like I would be in a regular spinning class, and then all of a sudden the waves from our quick pedalling would splash me in the face. Refreshing! 💦💦💦 Unlike with spinning on land, aquabiking calls for a lot of hovering just above the seat for extra resistance and ab work, making the water about waist-high. My quads tired quickly. 💦💦💦 Looking for a low-impact yet challenging fitness class? 2 hours and 10 min well spent practicing some of my favorite movements 😄 Perhaps this is overthinking lifting weights and using the body, but ever since I heard someone use the wording practice and not working out when taking about going to the gym, I’ve started to realize that this fits me much better. This also comes down to I do not go full out every exercise and especially not my main lifts. I prefer to practice the movements with the best technique possible to focus on the weakest areas of the movements e.g. a little over parallel in the concentric part of my squat. Also on my Christmas scratchy calendar I’m only one rain dear to win 5000 DKK and one drum to win 1000 DKK. Not only does squatting strengthen your legs and core, it also helps to develop other muscles as well. When you Squat your body releases more Growth Hormone and Testosterone in response to the extreme stimulus placed on the body. These hormones can be used to grow other improve muscularity in other muscle groups as well! Think these might be me fave excercise: Pendlay Rows or 'super cheaty chuck a bar bell at yoursen rows'. Ive Always just done super strict rows in the past and very much used them as a 'secondary' excercise being more concerned with prioritizing recovery for the main lifts.
