Good share by @knoxxfitbrz for this helpful tip. Alot of people try whatever it takes to get over that bar when performing a MUSCLEUP. Not knowing about the tremendous stress it can put on our shoulder joints. And some people wonder why they have shoulder impingement or shoulder strains 😫 Key is to learn the proper biomechanics. If you’re still underactive & can’t get over the bar then focus on putting more emphasis on the basic progressions (Pullups & negative/dips) until you become stronger 💪🏻 #knoxxfitbrz #muscleandmotion

If you train regularly, injuries are inevitable, big or small. They can be frustrating, but it doesn’t help to keep dwelling on it. The best thing to do is make sure it recovers well while finding other opportunities. _____ I had a minor tweak in my wrist coming out of nowhere. I decided to rest it completely until it could bare weight, and work on basics, grips and weights that are the best for the wrist. _____ Listen to your body, it knows the best :) saw this variation from @prove_it. Addicted to doing pull ups since 2012 🐒 • Oh man I was so skinny back then! I still remember being able to see my ribs every time I took my shirt off. I weighted around 130 pounds back then. I get asked often what the effect of doing so many pull-ups is. I definitely feel stronger, more powerful, and have more endurance. _____ But these didn’t just come from all the reps as much as the way I’ve been putting the reps in. This is fat burning and soul lifting. An intense workout that targets the core and fast twitch muscle fibres of the legs. Engage your back and glutes during the workout and it'll burn so deep you'll think you're strengthening the bone. The breakdown: 1. Get into a push up position, 'jump your legs to your hands, bending that the knees and hips. From there 'jump' your feet out diagonally to either the left or the right side of your position, straightening your body. Keep your hands in the same position throughout. Then 'jump your feet back to your hands, bending at the hips and knees, then 'jump' your feet out to the opposite side of the jump you jump did. Ensure that you engage your core and back and fluted when you extend your body. 2. Explosive squats= jumping squats. A. K. A squat and then jump, land with knees slightly bend, then go down into a squat and jump up again. 3. Mountain climbers: get into push up position, bring left knee up to chest, bending at the knee and hips, leaving the other leg straight. Then 'throw' leg back to straight position in the starting push up position. Repeat with other leg. This exercise is best done fast. 4.
