Yesterday we had the opportunity to tour one of the oldest synagogues in Providence. Although the main sanctuary hadn't been used in decades and in much need of repair there were some beautiful works of art on display including this paper-cut collage made by one of the founders.
How to fix your lagging muscles? My back was my WORST muscle a year ago. Here are some things I did to add extra thickness and width. ✅Increase training volume or intensity per week. Instead of hitting back only once a week, bump it up to two. ✅ increase carbohydrates on lagging muscle group training days for improved performance and recovery. 🔥
✅ Add in advanced training styles. Examples: eccentrics, rest pause, drop sets, isometrics, pre exhausts, etc. 💪🏽
✅ Heavy compound movements.
Example for Back: Heavy 90 degree bent over rows, rack pulls, deadlifts. 💯
✅Flex your lagging muscle as much as possible OUTSIDE of the gym. Often times we lack the mind to muscle connection, what better way to create this then contracting the muscle outside of your workout sessions?
