Enough chatter, about Chowder. ✨crock pot CHICKEN CORN CHOWDER✨
1 1/4lbs chicken thighs, cubes
1lb. Red potatoes, cubed
2 large carrots,sliced
2 celery sticks, sliced
1 medium yellow onion
1 small yellow bell pepper
6 cloves garlic minced
2cups corn (fresh/canned/frozen)
4cups low sodium chicken broth
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tspn salt
1/2 cup Organic whipping cream
4strips crispy cooked bacon, cut/crumbled
Fresh parsley &a chopped green onion for garnish-optional
Instructions:place all chicken, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, bell pepper, garlic, corn in crock pot.
Add broth, thyme, parsley, salt&pepper.
Cover crock pot and set on LOW, for 7-8hrs.
Once time is up and ready to serve; turn off heat, and stir in bacon and cream.
Taste and adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with fresh chopped green onion and fresh parsley. Highly recommend, taste so fresh and delish.

My research: ***Heavy whipping cream is all fat and does not contain lactose or casein. (Lactose is the sugar in dairy products, & Casein is the protein in dairy products) Heavy Whipping Cream contains neither of these and is packed with fat which is why PALEO eaters prefer it. Heavy whipping cream is my new coffee creamer. Although when I think of Paleo I usually don't think any sort of cream is "Paleo", but when it comes to every now and then including recipes and coffee, I'm all game.💛 #chickencornchowder #crockpot #cleaneats
