If you try to be kind by giving a thirsty, terrified pig in a slaughter-truck some water, you could face 6 months in jail or a $5000 fine for interfering with 'property'. This is the cruel, immoral world we live in.
Animals are not property. They are living, breathing, sentient beings with families just like us. We need to destroy the property status of animals, as it's that objectification, which enables us to senselessly enslave, oppress, exploit and massacre them.
The page I'm sharing this from @pmwhiphop
is full of comments from non-vegans saying 'it's ok to eat bacon but it's animal abuse to deprive a pig of water'
That's cognitive dissonance because in my head that just translates as 'it's animal abuse to deprive a pig of water but it's perfectly fine to stab a pig in the throat or throw them in a scalding tank or gas them to death in a gas chamber while their insides burn with carbonic acid for the trivial reason of my tastebuds so that I can feast on their flesh and forget about it five minutes later for a meal I don't even need to survive'
If you hate #AnimalAbuse,
then stop funding it. If you #LoveAnimals,
then stop being the reason they suffer and die. You are a good person born into a cruel world but you are personally responsible for becoming more ethical than the society you grew up. #PeaceBeginsOnYourPlate
and in your heart 💚🌱 .
