today i got to witness my first spray jam, s/o to the guys at @caps_and_cans
for hosting such an awesome event! it was a great reminder of the positive impact that street artists make on communities (especially those in need of a little something extra to brighten up their surroundings).
for the most part of the day i hung out with the #mosthatedcrew.
recently i've been getting to know the guys through their work, so it was cool to meet them in person. the crew took ownership of a wall next to the park in the area, and throughout the day members of the community (both kids and adults) were coming up to them in absolute awe, and appreciation of their skills.
one of the newest members of #mhc, #aoth
(art out the heart), is an artist whose work i'm admittedly not too familiar with but wish i was. keep an eye out for this talented youngster, i rate it's worth adding him to your watchlist! i can't wait to find more of his work out on the streets (which i'm sure we'll being seeing more of now that he's part of the crew with the most up).
there was talk of the crew using some inspiration from villains for today's spray jam. if you find your way to their wall you will find #thejoker, #droctopus,
and this piece, which looks to be inspired by one of batman's enemies, "the riddler".
