Oats for 3 on this chilly morning back home with the parents 🏡 😊. This girl got a full 9 hours of sleep and I swear I am a new human being! I spent my morning listening to Revolution Health Radio, one of my all time favorite podcasts, thanks to @twist_of_lemons
, followed by searching for a new book to read over break, that will be both brain stimulating and enjoyable for me (most likely going to be food/medicine related). If you have any good book suggestions please please share! Now it's time for quality time with my mama (she took the day off to spend it with me 💕). Happy happy Monday 🌞! •
OAT RECIPE (serves 3):
• 1 1/2 cups of @bobsredmill
quick cooking rolled oats
• 2 cups of water + 1 cup of @thenewbarn
unsweetened almond milk.
• 1 tsp of vanilla
• 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
• 2 tsps of @salbachia
ground chia seeds
• 3 chopped juicy medjool dates
• 1 mashed ripe banana
Bring liquids to a boil then add in oats, vanilla, spice, and chia, stir and simmer for 5 minutes. Add in remaining ingredients and cook for another 3 minutes.
