So now a days, people don’t like donating to charities because you don’t know exactly where your money is going and how your money is going to help. But it was such an honour to stay in the Immanuel Orphanage and see exactly what my church have been supporting and putting their money into.
Shout out to Mama Kamal. This boss lady is not only a mother to the 15 children at the orphanage, she is also running a school that helps the poorer children of India have an education. I love the fact that although these children live in an orphanage, they are not treated like orphans. They have been offered more than just a safe house away from broken and violent families. They are actually so blessed to be living in the orphanage because, not only are their basic needs provided for, they are shown the love and grace that isn’t found in a lot of places. These kids will grow up in the orphanage carrying a mindset that is a lot bigger than others in India because Mama has been grooming them and teaching them that there is so much more to life than just scraping for money to feed their families. It’s so inspiring to see a woman of God making a dent in her community because of her desire to share Gods love. So thank you to everyone that donated, your money and prayers have definitely been used to make a positive change in, not only the orphanage, but India in general. We need to support more places like this. #immanuelorphanage #delhi #orphanage #bosslady
