Another great post regarding the weight limits in the Classic Physique Division. This is Rory Leidelmeyer at 6'2 weighing 245 lbs. With current regulation he can weigh no more than 235 lbs. That means if he competed today (as a pro) he would have to lose 10 lbs. As you can see in the picture he looked simply amazing. Perfect symmetry and the right conditioning. He would have to dig very deep, potentially lose a lot of muscle and look very flat on stage to reach that weight. So I don't think the weight limits are at a good weight now. It will be best to give them a little more room. If they are afraid of the little difference between CPD and Open, there are other ways to fight that. Best way in IMHO is to set a clear example in JUDGING, Don't just reward the biggest guys and definitly no bubble guts. Look for that perfect symmetry and posing for example.
