FOUNDER'S DAY #NOVEMBER18TH
Merit Mixed Secondary School, she toiled so well to nurture it and we all enjoyed it while others are still enjoying it. Merit made me who I am today (smiles)....I still recall how sluggish I was when I first entered the boarding house, eating was zero for me because I ended up throwing the remaining once the bell is rung, I never did any chores at home because I was pampered to the fullest and my parents decided that if I am left that way I will end up really bad, I learnt how to wash my clothes, eat within 5mins, sweep, throw the trash, and lay the bed ( our dearest Mrs V.Iduh taught me this on Inspection day,she asked who owned the bed and my heart sank,I raised my hand and walked closer, she spoke to me softly and showed me how it was being done, I was only a child then so I learnt everyday).....I fell sick every now and then and she was so concerned about my health until a particular day she discovered I was having a serious appendicitis pain but still asked that I undergo an examination to be certain, and behold it was and I had to undergo surgery as soon as possible(Nov 2002)....
The sound of the Volvo car sends calmness and tension at the same time...looolz... You break any rules, you are in for it....she was a great disciplinarian.
The shocker of my life... #November18th
2003......we got to school that day and the atmosphere was not friendly at all...I saw uncle Aliman's eyes swollen and red with tears still dripping,I knew it has happened..we were gathered and was informed she is no more..we wept because we lost a rare gem,a mother, a disciplinarian... #noschool
we needed to mourn the loss.
You are forever remembered Mother - Late Mrs Victoria Iduh
