Weight has been up and down over the week 😊 But weight trend is finally starting to go towards the right direction.
NON ESISTONO CONTROINDICAZIONI NEL PRATICARE SPORT DURANTE IL CICLO MESTRUALE. La donna non è indebolita dal mestruo ma, molto piu delle volte da fattore psicologici, ma anche culturali: quanto spesso ci siamo sentite ripetere nella nostra vita " se hai il ciclo mettiti a letto , ti faccio un po' di acqua calda, vuoi un oki? , oggi riposa" ... come se il ciclo fosse una malattia bella e buona. Ma tutto ciò è davvero necessario? NO ! Anzi un buon allenamento può aiutare, come? Grazie alla produzione di Endorfine che si ha proprio durante l'attività motoria. Le Endorfine sono sostanze chimiche generate dal cervello con poteri analgesici in grado di alleviare i tipici dolori da ciclo. Quindi cio che si potrebbe fare senza alcun problema è allenarsi in modo piu tranquillo, non lavorare con carichi eccessivi, non sottoporsi a stress fisico elevato. Sono consigliati Esercizi leggeri o praticati in brevi sessioni aiutano a sentirsi bene fisicamente e psicologicamente. Da non dimenticare, poi, che la componente sociale dell'attività fisica – per esempio condividere l'allenamento con altre persone – aiuta a ridurre le percezioni negative. Ecco dunque alcuni benefici che derivano dal fare sport in quei giorni: •Diminuisce la ritenzione dei liquidi •Si sviluppa una maggiore tolleranza e resistenza di fronte al dolore •L'attività fisica aiuta a ridurre i sintomi nel periodo premestruale e mestruale •Se risulta divertente, piacevole e interessante, lo sport aiuta a contrastare l'ansia ed altri disturbi di tipo psicologico. •L'esercizio fisico ha una componente sociale di diminuzione dello stress ed aumento della motivazione. •Ci sono addirittura delle atlete che hanno fatto registrare il loro personal record durante il primor giorno del ciclo. So, long term our strength and physique goals call for one thing from our training... . . Doing more - or overloading. . . Progressively. Not adding 20kg to the bar in the space of a week, but over time manipulate different variable to ensure we continue to safely, effectively and productively do more. . . That could be: . - More reps - More weight on the bar - More set - Slower reps - More controlled/More comfortable feeling movements - More complex movements - Less rest . We can and should control each of those variables - looking to change most on a weekly basis. . Following a structured programme, monitoring that training in a log book/spreadsheet and a drive to improve are key here. . . { That’s Becky in the photo - the weight used or reps for her RDL’s hadn’t increased for 3 weeks BUT each week she put the work in, was patient, her form improved, as did how they felt so we held off pushing on until they felt crisp - which they did - and then added 2.5kg as a progression. 3 weeks might be sen as a little slow BUT we saw progression each week and ultimately PROGRESSIVELY OVERLOADED the movement and the intended muscles } . 🏋🏻‍♀️ @rebeccagilroy_

She understands that to gain muscle for a super shaped (long term) physique you may initially gain a little fat. But it’s a relatively quick process to cut the fat off and then reveal that chiseled muscle and who’s concerned with being beach lean in winter anyway! - Another extremely important factor in any ‘weight loss’ endeavour is to ensure your metabolic rate is running optimally otherwise you’ll spin your wheels forever.
