My Journey with Sacred Soul Trees began in 2011. A truly amazing Soul (go to www.ourpsychicart.com to see her work! ❤) teaching Psychic Art worked with me to help me manifest my Soul Tree. I AM still hooked 6 years later. I have channled over 70 images and feel more coming. I have recently dissolved my surface resistance to the Shamanic Archetypes awakening in me and am finding deeper understanding of Why I am so drawn to manifesting our individual Tree of Life. I am now working on the Words. Art is my main channel of expression. ...now it's time to open up to the Story teller in me. Each tree has the Hero's Symbolic tale within it. We decided to come up north for the weekend as my brother @jakegrahamphoto is up here after his cross Canada 🇨🇦 travels. Last night was such an amazing night we decided to cook dinner our chicken over the open fire 🔥 in a cast iron skillet. It was such a great treat to be able to sit outside next to a fire and watch the sun go down over a calm lake. Such a memorable experience that I feel very grateful for. Getting outside and spending time in nature is so relaxing and such a large stress relief. The science behind it is pretty amazing, in fact we have an article on our site all about how hiking and being outside is beneficial to overall health. Here are the sparks notes: lowers cortisol, increases action of the parasympathetic nervous system, boosts the immune system, is great for the joints and the eyes. If you're depressed, set goals - When you're depressed, you may feel like you can't accomplish anything. That makes you feel worse about yourself. To push back, set daily goals for yourself. Start very small. Make your goal something that you can succeed at, like doing the dishes every other day.
If you're depressed, get in a routine - Depression can strip away the structure from your life. One day melts into the next. Setting a gentle daily schedule can help you get back on track.

2013-2017 We are our own worst critic.. But that's how growth happens. If you get comfortable, you stay stagnant If you stay comfortable, you don't grow Im never content.. Not just with Bodybuilding..but in life. Accepting mediocrity is something I never could do..and No one is as hard on me as I am, myself. Don't confuse that for having some "body dysmorphia" issue. Just like anything else, any other sport, you wanna be better, make everything as flawless as possible (chasing perfection). People have such a misconception of Bodybuilding. Which I could see where some come from. Everyone's obsessed with staying lean, stage ready year round. The tough crowd who doesn't have an "offseason". When most people need to realize offseason is more for your mind than your body. Where personal growth is done. Mental reparation. 3,4,5,6,7 month prep..hell even sometimes longer is taxing. So just like your body, you mind heals, recovers and comes back stronger! So two things: 1. Always want more. Never be comfortable. Make your best even better. 2. It's okay to not to be super lean. Get a little fluff. Or alot lol. We're Bodybuilders. It's our job to do and to know how to get rid it. If being on stage is something you want to do, have to learn to accept, you're not gonna be 3% body fat all the time. Here are some tips: 1️⃣Develop mindfulness. Practice observing your thoughts, rather than reacting automatically to them. Think of your thoughts as clouds floating by. Let them pass and don't judge! 2️⃣Focus on your breath. You always have it with you, and simply by deeply breathing in and out 3 times you can bring calm to every cell in your body. 3️⃣Use on the go tools like aromatherapy rollers or flower essence blends. I just made a new aroma oil blend using a Chinese herbal essential oil called biota seed, lavender and sandalwood. It's called "calm mind" for good reason...
