One of my colleagues asked me the other day: _" what do you smell, it's so lovely ???" and I just answered -"I smell like where I used to live before: Mayotte!!!!!" We were indeed living with Ylang-ylang Trees and Frangipani Trees right in front of our doors and windows, it was such an Aromatic Heaven!!!!! The locals wearing Ylang-ylang Flowers in their hair or Jasmin....unforgettable.
Smell triggers very strong Memory and Emotions just Like Proust's Madeleine.
Furthermore, our body contains far more receptors for smells (at least 1,000) than it does for other senses, like sight (four) and touch (at least four). What this means is we can discern between many different types of smells, even those you may not have the words to describe. It's very deep and powerful.... This sense is truly fantastic.
So yes, I wear Ylang-ylang EO as a perfume (just behind my ears, neck and wrists)....🌿 Still in love with Mayotte, its people and beautiful lagoon which has a double barrier reef!!! Yeah!💦🐳🐬🐋🐟🐠🐙 This book "L'Afrique Bleue" is from #marcallaria
